Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for data processing at A Nomnom Story?

That’s me, Barbara Peters. Lägdvägen 4, 83631 Lit, Sweden. You can reach me at +46 727 394138 or hello@nomnomstory.com.

Feel free to contact me any time if you have any questions about this privacy policy. I have put together some answers to the main questions on this topic here in simple language, without the legal jargon.

What data does this policy apply to?

When you send me an e-mail, or use the website or contact form, this creates personal data. You can find out more about the nature of this data below.

Why do you process this data?

I process your personal data for least one of the following reasons (refer to the lawfulness of processing in Article 6, paragraph 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for further details):

  • You have given me your consent to process your data for a particular purpose.

  • I must process the data in order to meet a legal obligation that I am subject to.

  • I need to process the data in order to fulfil a contract with you or in order to take the required steps with you prior to entering into a contract.

  • I need to process the data to protect my legitimate interests.

Will my data be passed on to third parties?

This can happen in some cases. That is because I work with service providers who may need to process personal data on my behalf. These service providers may include web hosting providers and IT service providers. Without them, this website and the e-mail address would not work. Others include my bookkeeping service providers. Without them, I would have to do my bookkeeping and tax return by myself. I will not pass your data on to third parties who are not involved in project processing unless you give me your explicit consent to do so.

How long will you keep my data?

Only for as long as I need the data for the purposes mentioned in the section “Why do you process this data?” above. In some cases, statutory retention periods may also apply.

What are my rights?

You have the right to be informed about your data, to have the data corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, and to data portability (refer to the lawfulness of processing in Article 15–20 of the GDPR for further details).

You also have the right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR). This means that you can lodge an objection in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) of the GDPR if your data is processed for the purpose of safeguarding interests. If you want to do this, please contact me using the contact details above.

Finally, you have the option to complain to the data protection authority. The data protection authority in Sweden is Datainspektionen, www.datainspektionen.se.
